Happy New Year from a Small Business Winner!!!

I hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year.

Well that 12 months seemed to fly by with December being the most crazily busy month of all. As I mentioned in my last blog, I was privileged enough to be chosen to take part in the Etsy Made Local event at the Medicine Bakery and Gallery during December.

For those who follow me on social media, you will have seen many posts from me and fellow etsy sellers. It was such a good venue for us small businesses to get together and exhibit. The atmosphere was great and the footfall from you lovely people was second to none. I guess the added bonus of coffee and cake helped too 🙂 I am currently working on orders that have come in over the festive period and I’m almost there. If you are waiting for a shade, please bear with me, it will be with you shortly.

And finally…….. you may have heard, mostly due to the fact I have told what seems like the whole world, that I was lucky enough to be selected by Theo Paphitis as a ‘Small Business Winner’

at the end of November. This is an award that recognises small businesses, gets retweeted by the man himself and and I get to attend an awards ceremony in February and meet fellow small business owners, to share successes and learnings. To be chosen was so exciting, especially as it was within my first year trading full time.

I have lots of plans for 2020 which I hope to share with you soon however in the meantime to celebrate my 1st year anniversary I am offering you all 10% off all online orders for a short period of time.

Enter NY2020 promo code at the checkout to qualify.

That’s all for now. Speak soon and take care.

Rachel
